This traditional stone built cottage is in a lovely situation on the edge of the village of Burton-in-Lonsdale. The rear of the cottage looks over the river Greta and at the front there are open views of fields and a wood.
The front patio is pretty and colourful with flower tubs and garden furniture and it’s secure for children. There’s a cosy sitting room with beamed ceiling, kitchen dining room overlooking the river and two bedrooms.
Burton in Lonsdale has been described as the last village in Yorkshire. It is tucked into the hillside above the river Greta on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Ingleton with its famous cave and waterfalls is only 3 miles away and heading towards the Lake District, historic Kirkby Lonsdale and Lake Windermere and the Southern lakes are in easy travelling distance
