If you’re looking for a fun outing for all the family to enjoy during this November, then be sure to visit Leeds Christkindelmarkt (known to be one of the largest and most established traditional German Christmas Markets) which runs right through until 20 December 2014.
Millennium Square is transformed into a wonderful scenic winter village. Discover over 40 traditional wooden chalet stalls, adorned with festive greenery and twinkling lights. There’s something for everyone at the Christkindelmarkt – from the ever popular traditional Christmas Carousel, stalls holding handcrafted toys, gorgeous jewellery, wonderful festive decorations, specialty foods and drink including Stollen and Gingerbread.
The Alp Chalet Bavarian eatery provides a warm and very cosy place to sit and enjoy some authentic German food and drink; Visit the Frankfurter Scheune (a beautifully themed festive meeting hall). Due to popularity the themed children’s event returns for 2014, held in the Frankfurter Scheune, running each Sunday morning from 10.30am until 12.30pm.

FESTIVE FAMILY FUN FAIR takes place on Cookridge Street (which can be found between The Headrow and St Anne’s Street) every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 19 Nov to 21 Dec 2014.
