Here comes the entertainment...
Here comes the entertainment...

The Kirkby Fleetham Feast has been keeping rural traditions alive in North Yorkshire for over a century and this year celebrates its 110th year of feasting.

This year’s village feast promises to be a bumper one, with a number of races, a plethora of stalls, bouncy castles, a variety of competitions including best in show for vegetables, flowers, fruit, flower arranging, beverages, crafts, limericks, children’s entries, farmers’ entries and family entries.

Preparations are well under way, and you can check out more information on the Kirkby Fleetham Feast website – read about the long history of Kirkby Fleetham and the feast, or get prepared so that you can become a major prizewinner this year. And if you’d like to volunteer or you require more information, you can email the organisers.

And if you’d like to stay in the area, check out some North Yorkshire B&Bs and North Yorkshire cottages on Hello Yorkshire.
