21-22 April: Free entry to some National Trust properties

The National Trust is opening up over 200 of its houses and gardens throughout the UK for free this weekend, 21-22 April 2012.

The following properties in Yorkshire are participating:

Beningbrough Hall and Gardens, York

East Riddlesden Hall, Keighley

Gibson Mill, Hebden Bridge

Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, Ripon

Nostell Priory, near Wakefield

Nunnington Hall, near York

Rievaulx Terrace and Temples, near Helmsley

Treasurers House, York

Visitors will need to download a voucher from the National Trust website here, and there’s more – another voucher for 20% off in National Trust cafés when £15 or more is spent during the weekend.

The free entry is for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children (aged 5-16 years) – further details are available here.
