Kiplin Hall gets £42½k grant from Heritage Lottery Fund for War Project

Kiplin Hall in North Yorkshire has been awarded a grant of £42,500 by the Heritage Lottery Fund to help it research and develop a collaborative project with other members of the Yorkshire Country House Partnership to mark the centenary of the beginning of the First World War in August 1914. The project “the Yorkshire Country House in Time of War” will begin this autumn and carry on for a further two years and show the important role that the some of the county’s country houses played during World War 2.
