Back for the eighth time, the award-winning Ice Factor skating rink (with real ice!) forms the centrepiece of Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland. There’ll be a traditional funfair, with rides, a helter-skelter, dodgems, and a 1930’s style speedway, as a well as games stalls to add to the festive air. The Ice Factor will be at the heart of a traditional village square, with a huge Christmas tree right in the middle, with log cabins, an illuminated forest, reindeer, a public viewing area, a skate hire marquee and heated Ice Bar & Café. And with 160 top name stores right next door, you can do all your Christmas shopping after you’ve enjoyed the fun of the fair. And there’s plentiful free parking too.
Tickets for the Ice Factor are £9.75 (adults), £8.75 (children and concessions) for a one-hour session (check website for times – www.theicefactor.co.uk/opening-times), with discounts for parties of 20 or more.
