Richmond
Located in Low Row, Swaledale, within the beautiful and diverse Yorkshire Dales, come and experience what it’s like to live on a family run, organic working farm.
We have plenty to offer you, whatever the weather! There are plenty of things to see and do for all ages. It’s a perfect opportunity to find out what it’s like to live on a traditional Dales farm.
Try your hand at weaving, milking or even goose herding. You can have a chat to the farmer and our friendly working staff who will be happy to answer any questions you have. If you visit during lambing time (April) you may be very lucky to see lambs being born and view our special demonstrations. Also during April and May you may also be able to bottle feed any orphan lambs. You can also feed the hens, gather the eggs and even hold a chick. During May to September you’ll be able to meet our Border Collie Rescue Puppies, kittens and pigs too. Our younger visitors are welcome to ride the pedal tractors in our Children’s play areas.
