All the guest bedrooms have delightful en suite facilities and are warm, cosy and comfortably decorated and furnished and come complete with a colour TV, towels, complimentary toiletries, radio alarm clock and a well stocked hospitality tray.
A generous breakfast is served up daily in the sunny dining room with its large bay window, providing that great essential start to your day. A wide range of cereals, yoghurt and fruit is available before a hearty full English breakfast, with smaller portions or special diets catered for upon request. Our guests have confirmed that they usually find our large breakfasts will see them right through until the evening.

We are perfectly located within walking distance of Whitby’s local shops and attractions, including the famous historic ruins of the 7th Century Abbey. Whitby is a traditional seaside town which has an abundance of historic character and charm, with it’s cobbled streets, narrow alleyways and picturesque fishermen’s cottages all just waiting to be explored.
If you are a keen cyclist or walker you are more than welcome to leave your car in our private car park and head out for a day of adventure on the many paths and trails which are on our doorstep and when you return you can leave your sports equipment in our secure storage lock-up.
The guesthouse also provides easy access to the surrounding countryside and coast. Why not take a trip up the Heritage Coast and explore this most spectacular stretch of coastline in the country with its rocky coves, miles of sandy beaches and pretty little fishing villages. Take a picturesque trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway which runs from the beautiful village of Grosmont to Pickering. If you fancy going further a field then we are ideally located along the main bus route taken by the Coastliner and National Express services and the bus and train station is only a couple of minutes walk away.
