International Centre for Birds of Prey at Duncombe Park

Helmsley

The International Centre for Birds of Prey at Duncombe Park is the largest collection of birds of prey in the north of England.

Set amongst 10 acres of veteran oaks and rolling parkland next to the main house it houses around 100 eagles, vultures, owls, falcons and hawks. Birds range in size from the tiny Burrowing Owls up the gigantic Steller’s Sea Eagles.

We fly the birds in 3 daily flying demonstrations – please see our website for summer and winter flying times. Different birds are used in each demo; make sure you bring your camera, they are sure to be the highlight of your visit.

The Fountain Tearoom serves Tabitha’s delicious home cooked food and snacks. The blackboard shows the daily specials.
