Goathland
Charming 3-star country house hotel near Whitby in the village of Goathland, famed for its Heartbeat and Harry Potter connections.
From £65.00
per person per night
This beautiful Grade II listed building is situated in the lovely rural village of Goathland, perhaps better known as 'Aidensfield' in the TV programme, Heartbeat.
Goathland lies amidst the stunning countryside of the Esk Valley, of which the Mallyan Spout Hotel boasts spectacular views. The hotel is named after a 70 ft waterfall located just a short walk from the hotel. Countless other beautiful walks surround the village, alongside the River Esk or up and over the hilly and winding paths and roads.
The hotel's 20 en suite bedrooms are all furnished to a very high standard so that they are both beautiful and comfortable. Each has been individually designed, enabling you to choose between, for example, cosy country cottage style or decadent four poster luxury.
