York
17th century luxury York hotel owned by the National Trust and beautifully restored in 20 acres of manicured gardens.
From £130.00
per person per night
Middlethorpe Hall is a magnificent 17th Century York hotel which is set amidst 20 acres of gardens and parkland. The building was originally a country house which was home to the famous diarist, Lady Mary Wortley Montagu.
Now a luxury hotel, Middlethorpe Hall's interior has been sympathetically restored to enhance the building's period charm. All of the bedrooms have been individually decorated, and are comfortable, as well as beautiful.
We serve high quality traditional food in our panelled dining rooms which overlook the garden. We also have facilities for private dining.
You can indulge yourself by making use of the health and fitness spa facilities, which include a mosaic lined pool, a steam room, saunas and a whirlpool bath. We also offer a range of individual treatments, plus health and beauty half days and full days.
