The Ruskin Hotel

Harrogate

A hotel of character, in a quiet conservation area in Harrogate, set in mature gardens, yet near the centre of Harrogate.

From £65.00
per person per night

Charm and character - these really sum up the Ruskin, a privately-owned Victorian hotel named after the eminent Victorian author, art critic and artist, who visited the hotel. The Sunday Times described the bedrooms as “spacious, with high ceilings and large bay windows . . . the beds are firm and the décor is easy on the eye” and awarded it a “Golden Pillow”. The Ruskin is beautifully furnished with antiques and retains many of its original features, and has a veranda overlooking its mature, lawned gardens - perfect for a sundowner at the end of a busy day.

And there’s lot to see and do within a short distance of the hotel, from the Harrogate Conference Centre with its summer season of classical music concerts, to the Pump Rooms and Royal Baths, RHS Harlow Carr Gardens, and nearby Knaresborough with its ruined castle which has spectacular views down to the River Nidd.
