Thirsk Furniture Trail

Dotted in and around the charming market town of Thirsk in North Yorkshire are members of a group of cabinetmakers and wood carvers. These people are craftsmen, with skills honed over many years to produce items that are more than mere furniture - these are pieces that will one day become the antiques of tomorrow.

Using a variety of hardwoods they create furniture to designs and specifications provided by their customers, as well as producing a variety of pieces to their own designs. And, as a little extra, many carve a trademark into each piece they create.
