Yorkshire Dales Falconry

Yorkshire Dales Falconry Centre offers a great day out, where you can see and meet all the different birds and learn all about the art of falconry. The Centre opened its doors for the first time in 1991 and has offered visitors a chance to see lots of wonderful birds of prey flying freely in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales. If the weather is poor then the display will take place in doors, so you are guaranteed to see a bird in flight whatever the weather.

The Centre is also home to a café serving both hot and cold food. There is also a gift shop so you can take home a souvenir of your day and for the children there's a great adventure play area for them to explore. You can book a ‘Falconry Experience’ and spend time with an experienced handler where you'll learn how to walk, hold and fly some of the specially trained birds.
