After back-to-back successes for the recent New Ebor Street’s U.S.A. themed Independence Feast in York’s Parliament Street and music provision for he Tour de Yorkshire, the street food wagon is well and truly rolling in the historic City of York.
The next up is the BIG ONE: serving up a 3 day Food, Drink and Music Festival over what will hopefully be a sun-drenched August weekend of 7th, 8th & 9th August – at York Knavesmire.
Fantastic street food will include: Shambles Kitchen, Smokin Blues BBQ, The Mussel Pot, The Quinoa Caravan, Fish &, Diamond Dogs, Pizza Fela, Kerb Edge, Cantina Burrito, Spicy Jack’s Deli and last (but certainly not least!) The Donut Kitchen & Swirlz Ice Cream.
There’ll be a comprehensive stock of over 50 ciders and ales to choose from, with a fantastic selection coming from Dark Star, Bad Seed, Treboom, Brass Castle Brooklyn, Atom, and many more including a fully stocked Cocktail bar, SloeMotion’s Yorkshire Pimms plus a Prosecco and Wine bar, and Whisky tasting form the Whisky Lounge – something to suit all tastes.
Add to the mix two stages of music (with over 40 artists playing across the whole weekend, one of these hosting the City’s finest singer songwriters and the other playing host to York’s best Soul, Reggae, Funk and Balearic DJs and you’re presented with all the qualities of a fantastic event that’s not to be missed.
