Located on the River Nidd, in the heart of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is Pately Bridge, a bustling market town where there’s lots to see and do.
The town boasts plenty of amenities, including places to eat, accommodation and leisure facilities, and is also home to the Oldest Sweet Shop in the World, established in 1827.
Pately Bridge marks the start and end point of the 53 mile Nidderdale Way, a circular route through the beautiful Nidd Valley – known for its floral charm. It’s also a stone’s throw away from the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park, and makes a great base for exploring further afield.
